Multidisciplinary Designer & Illustrator

I'm a designer and illustrator who's been making things for a long time. I've designed repeating surface patterns for fabric, wallpaper, and home goods on Spoonflower since 2009, and today I work across brand, print, digital, and social — built on a Fine Arts foundation and a Media Design degree.

What I care about most is the human side of design: how people think, what moves them, and how to make something that genuinely lands. I once persuaded several family members to book last-minute flights to Armenia for my brother's wedding by designing a webpage and invitations they couldn't refuse. That's the design I love: the kind that gets people to feel something and do something.

I come by that people-instinct honestly. Before Sioux Falls, I spent about a decade in New York City, where I met most of my friends working as a production assistant, costume designer, and background actor — and became known as one of the people "who made the city what it was." I'm just as comfortable DJing a wedding three hours from Sioux Falls as I was weaving through the city's underground art, music, and nightlife.

I moved to Sioux Falls in 2022 to build a new chapter, and brought the same instincts with me: adaptable, curious, and able to find the humor in absolutely everything. More about my story in this article.
